With his collaborator and close friend Madeleine Casteel in the duo “august,” they have released two singles and an EP gaining almost 55,000 streams across platforms. Under his solo project, RYKN GREY, he has released two albums, an EP, and six singles, gaining almost 6,000 streams across platforms.

Additionally, Rykken pursues photography and filmmaking. He participated in the 2021 Young Documentary Filmmakers Camp, as well as The New York Times Summer Academy Photojournalism challenge.
